HP Sponsor Guide

Welcome to MSP 3.0 on Saviynt platform.  All organizations (providers) and user’s enrollment/on-boarding will happen within Saviynt MSP 3.0 platform.

This guide will summarize all the HP Sponsor on this new platform.  There are some new features and some additional processes to accomplish before an organization can be on board. 

In general, there are still three roles.  Same as in MSP 2.0 but the responsibilities will be different.

1. HP Sponsor
   1. HP employees that on-board providers/partners onto MSP 3.0 platform.
   1. Manage all their on-boarded Providers/Organizations.
   1. Create Vendor Manager (previously Approvers).
   1. Will have access to reports to manage list of Providers/Organizations.
2. Vendor Manager (Approvers)
   1. Create End Users.
   1. Will have access to reports to better manage End Users.
3. End Users (Normal user)
   1. Reset password
   1. Manage entitlement.

Summary of features on new platform.

1. Request HP Sponsor Role.
   1. All new employees who wish to on-board provider/organizations need to request a role.
   1. Login into MSP 3.0 Saviynt platform and request HP Sponsor role.
   1. Details will be in the guides/tutorials section.
   1. With this HP Sponsor Role, you will be able to on-board organization.
   1. MSP Admin will approve new HP Sponsor role request.
2. Request to on-board a new organization/provider
   1. New screen for HP Sponsor to enter SM Vendor ID.
   1. System will run a job and if all information is correct, the organization will be created but in an In-Active state.
   1. HP Sponsor will then view their list of providers/organizations and change to Active status.
3. Create Vendor Manager (Approvers).
   1. The new system does not sent emails to first approver anymore.  For security reasons, only HP Sponsor can create vendor manager.
   1. Go to create users page and create vendor manager.
