HP Sponsor FAQ
1) Org End date - Extension> 180 days
Ans: Default is 180 days Sponsors can extend the end date up to 1 year and Renewable every 1 year
2) Criteria to request for HP Sponsor Role ?Does it required to get any approval or any business justification?.
Ans: Only full time employee New Hp sponsors required new sponsors role to request
3) trigger the notification of vendor expiration to vendor manager as well ? Is it a possible ?
Ans: it will trigger to sponsors manager , not vendor manager due to security concerns
4) We have a situation now where the same existing organization has a new contract to a new PL. The new PL HP sponsor will have to find the original owner to assign to a new vendor manager?
Ans: Yes , we are working on the View button to all the sponsors to check the other organizations, to check who is the owner of the organization.
5)What is the default expiration for migrated users? 30 days to extend their expiration?
Ans: 90 days default expiration
6)How do you transfer the role from one HP employee to another due to role change?
Ans: Raise the ticket to MSP team to assign the another sponsor
7)In the case of HP Sponsor leaving HP without transferring the organization needs attention. This can cause lot of trouble.
Ans: Sponsor manager will become the owner and that manager has to raise ticket to MSP admin to add the new sponsor to the organization.
8) We need at least 2-3 HP Sponsors for one organization. Is it possible?
Ans: Yes, but Sponsors will not be having permission to add , they need to raise ticket to MSP admin to add additional sponsors
9) How will the vendor manager be notified?
Ans: As soon As Sponsor creates vendor manager , Vendor manager will get email notification along with BP ID
