What is the Field Support FAS API?

The Field Support FAS API, also known as the Field Assist API, is a robust set of RESTful services designed to streamline and automate field operations in sales and distribution environments. Who can access and use the HP FAS API?

he Warranty API is intended for use by businesses to check the warranty status of their business' fleet of HP devices.  HP’s customer advocacy group, along with your business' HP Account Manager, will review all requests to access the HP Warranty API and approve access for all validated HP customers. 

At present, the Warranty API is NOT available for use by IT Service companies and 3rd party ISVs that check warranty information for their customers' devices.  It is also NOT available for use by individuals and companies that do not have an HP Account Manager.  If either of these situations is your case and you still want to request access, then please contact the HP Warranty API customer advocacy group with specifics of your situation.  Please also consider using HP's Product Warranty Check website.
