Update-HPDockFirmware [-AutoInstallWmiProvider] [-UpdateNow] [[-Experience] <String>] [-Force] [-File <String>] [<CommonParameters>]
Description
This command updates firmware on connected docks if available.
Parameters
| Name | Argument | Description |

| AutoInstallWmiProvider | <SwitchParameter> | If specified, run Install-HPDockWmiProvider first to ensure WMI Provider is installed. The HP Dock WMI Provider is only needed to query for connected dock information to find the corresponding dock firmware SoftPaq. Consequently, if File parameter is also specified, it will override this parameter as File parameter allows users to pass in a SoftPaq exe and is intended for offline and WAN protection scenarios. |
| Experience | <String> | Specifies user interaction. Values are Silent, Interactive, Non-Interactive. If not specified, Silent mode is default. |
| Force | <SwitchParameter> | If specified, the command updates all firmware components to be updated regardless of the current version. |
| UpdateNow | <SwitchParameter> | If specified, the command updates the firmware immediately rather than staging the update onto the dock so that update occurs when dock is disconnected. |
| File | <String> | Specifies the file path to a dock firmware update SoftPaq (sp#####.exe) to be used instead of querying and downloading the latest dock firmware update Softpaq. Must be a file path, not a directory. If a filename or relative path is provided, the current directory is assumed. The SoftPaq number is extracted from the filename for proper extraction. |
