Summary :
With the latest Unilib in 64 bit on macOS we are unable to query the printer status of our HP Latex 570 unit.
Information :
OS Version : macOS Sierra 10.12.1
Unilib version : 02.36.0018 & 02.36.0014
Firmware version : STORM_00_07_00.7
Caldera Version : V12
Description :
All Unilib calls related to the printer status are unable to retrieve the status XML on macOS.
The getPrinterStatus call always returns 0 (UL_FAIL).
The startPrinterStatusTracking launches as expected, but in the callback function (cbPrinterStatusEvent) the buffer is always NULL and the size zero.
This behavior is also reproducible if we create an Unilib context with the "HP Latex 360" instead of the "HP Latex 570" product name and connect it to the Storm Viking unit.
The configurations above are all working as expected :
- HP Latex 360 on macOS 10.12.1
- HP Latex 360/570 on Debian Jessie (8.6) and Stretch (9.5).
- HP Latex 570 wakeUpPrinter, getIccProfile and getMediaInformation on macOS 10.12.1
- HP Latex 570 on macOS 10.12.1 with the Unilib in 32bit same version.
